Call for Papers

ABSTRACT DEADLINE:   December 1, 2000

The 2001 Carbon Conference will be a forum for oral presentations and posters from academia, industry, and government. The scope of the meeting includes all aspects of carbon research. Carbon in Biomaterials is a special symposium of the larger meeting. This meeting represents a change from the traditional format, which was divided according to carbon type or properties, to a grouping by a field of application/interest. This is to allow a closer alignment with fields of commercial interest. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 500-600 attendees from around the world.

Below is a preliminary list of topical areas and their subtopics. Be aware that this list may change somewhat prior to the meeting.
