The American Carbon Society, formerly the American
Carbon Committee, was established with the express purpose of organizing U.S. conferences
and workshops to promote interdisciplinary research and technology in the field of
carbon science. The Carbon Conferences are major international conferences encompassing all
areas of carbon science and research. The Society's Workshops provide focused forums for
reporting single topics in carbon use in more depth.
