The American Carbon Society, formally the American Carbon Committee, was established with the express purpose of organizing U.S. conferences and workshops to promote interdisciplinary research and technology in the field of carbon science. The Carbon Conferences are major international conferences encompassing all areas of carbon science and research. The Society's Workshops provide focused forums for reporting single topics in carbon use in more depth.
