Conference Summary

WHEN December 7 & 8, 2021

The American Carbon Society organized a virtual conference, over 2 half-day sessions, to examine and discuss the Industrial Applications & Recycling of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) Composites.

The objective of the meeting was to promote carbon science and technology in advanced composite manufacturing and recycling. 3 Areas of Potential Opportunity were identified for discussion:

  • Industrial Applications of CFRP Composites
  • CFRP Composite Costs
  • CFRP Composite Recycling

 

Conference Format

The virtual conference took place via Zoom, and was recorded for video archival in The American Carbon Society YouTube Channel. Plenary lectures were given by leading experts in the fields of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) and Recycling.
