The American Carbon Society organized a 2-day symposium & workshop on Thermal Management.
The Objective of this event was to promote high-temperature materials science and technology in the field of Thermal Management. 4 Areas of Potential Opportunity were identified for consideration:

The conference was hosted at the Hunt Library, on the Centennial Campus, at North Carolina State University.

The university recommended that visitors stay at The Stateview Hotel, Autograph Collection. However, they also negotiated a Group Block of Rooms in both the TownePlace Suites and the Holiday Inn Express (GROUP CODE: MAE or NCSU MAE DEPARTMENT). A daily shuttle service ran between the conference location and these 3 hotels.
