The American Carbon Society liases with the European Carbon Association and the Carbon Society of Japan to organize an International Conference on Carbon on an annual basis. Thus, each of these 3 organizations is responsible for holding an International Carbon Conference in their geographical region once every 3 years.
To date, American Carbon Society has organized our International Carbon Conferences in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016, and 2019. Prior to 2001, we hosted Biennial Carbon Conferences for our Membership.
